Holmes08 of Deviantart.com, we barely knew ye...

After an almost year-long vacation from Deviantart, I'm finally back and posting - although I'm sure most people weren't waiting for baited breath for something from me. Truth be told, digital art and photography were beginning to bore me a little bit, so I've been painting like mad since sometime last year. (Writing is still on my mind, I just haven't written anything worth posting lately)

One of the three new deviations that I posted is of my wall mural (Venus on a Halfshell) - which has been an ongoing project since the summertime - has actually been furthered along, and I'll get around to posting pictures eventually, along with pictures of other paintings that I have done (there are a couple more, I just haven't gotten them off my camera yet... where's the cord??)

I've had more time than usual to get around to getting new posts up; I've been sick as a dog since last week, and I was finally able to drag myself out of bed to do a couple posts and this journal, which is probably the most productive thing I've done this week - it's true, I've been pretty lazy and dead.
